The Traffic Group – AGD Systems, Traffic Group Signals and MAV Systems – has announced key changes to its leadership team as the business positions itself for an ambitious new phase of growth.
These appointments reflect the company’s renewed focus on scaling operations, accelerating innovation and strengthening its market position in response to emerging customer demands.
As of February 1st, the newly formed leadership team sees the appointment of Jonathan Brook to the role of Group Managing Director for The Traffic Group. Since joining the business in April 2024 as Group Commercial Director, Jonathan has quickly proven himself as a decisive and empathetic leader, guiding the team through unexpected challenges with confidence, clarity and a firm strategic direction.
In his new role as Group Managing Director, Jonathan will lead Group-wide business operations – encompassing AGD, Traffic Group Signals and MAV Systems – championing cross-functional collaboration and ensuring strategic alignment to accelerate innovation and drive sustainable growth across the organisation.
Commenting on his new role for the Group, Jonathan says: “It’s a real privilege to step into this role at such a transformative time for the business and I’m committed to building on the momentum we’ve already established. By working closely with the team and our customers, I want to sharpen our focus and strengthen how we operate, while unlocking new opportunities for growth. The leadership team is driven on staying aligned and delivering meaningful impact for our workforce, customers, supply chain partners and the long-term success of the business.”
Further strengthening the senior team, Jonathan is joined by Andy Humphries, who joined MAV Systems last year as Managing Director, Maxine Hutchinson as Managing Director, Traffic Group Signals and Dawn Woodward, who has recently been appointed as Managing Director, AGD Systems, following 10 years as Finance Director.
Maxine Hutchinson, who has recently been appointed Managing Director of Traffic Group Signals, adds: “We are delighted that Jonathan has agreed to step into the role of Managing Director. Over the past year, we’ve worked closely with him and seen first-hand the leadership and insight he brings to the business. His understanding of our operations and commitment to excellence make him the ideal person to lead us into the next phase of our growth. We look forward to continuing our work together as we strengthen our operations and remain focused on delivering exceptional service that meets the evolving needs of our customers.”
