Chris Shepherd

Chris Shepherd is Head of Products and Services at MAV Systems, with extensive experience in programme management, ANPR technology, and electronic security across both public and private sectors.

Since joining MAV in 2023, Chris has played a key role in shaping the company’s product strategy. As former Lead Product and Support Manager, he acted as Internal Product Owner for the MAV suite, translating customer needs into R&D and driving continuous product improvement. Now leading Products and Services, he focuses on customer-centric innovation, developing recurring revenue strategies, and enhancing pre- and post-sales support to improve customer satisfaction.

Chris is known for his proactive, data-driven approach, combining strong stakeholder management with a focus on risk management and continuous improvement. Earlier in his career, he led several high-impact programmes, including the national rollout of the DVLA’s ‘Project Stingray’ and award-winning enforcement initiatives with British Transport Police, delivering significant financial returns and operational efficiencies.

His blend of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and customer focus makes him a key contributor to MAV Systems’ ongoing growth and innovation.
