Phil Hutchinson

Phil Hutchinson is an experienced operations leader with over three decades in the traffic technology and manufacturing sector. He began his career with AGD Systems in 1994, where he developed a strong foundation across production, facilities, and manufacturing, holding a variety of roles that built his deep operational expertise.

In 2014, following The Traffic Group’s acquisition of Hollco Limited, Phil was appointed Operations Director, where he played a key role in integrating and strengthening manufacturing capabilities. His leadership was instrumental in the subsequent formation of Traffic Group Signals (TGS) in 2019.

As Operations Director for Traffic Group Signals and The Traffic Group, Phil has overseen a comprehensive transformation of manufacturing operations. He has supported the implementation of LEAN manufacturing principles, driven continuous process improvement initiatives, and successfully expanded the company’s depot network across the UK. His focus on operational excellence, efficiency, and scalability continues to support the growth and innovation of the business.
